  • Is your hotel open all year ?

The Mercedes Hotel is open from is open from Thursday March 28 to Sunday  noon November 3- 2024.

  • What is the maximum capacity of your accommodation ?

Our accommodation can welcome up to 5 persons (even 6 with the addition of an extra bed).

  • Do you offer family accommodation ?

Yes, the hotel Mercedes has :

– Flats compound of one parental bedroom and a main room with 2 or 3 single beds and a kitchenette space.

– Communicating bedrooms with the possibility to choose between 1 double bed or 2 single beds according to your convenience and a private shower room in each bedroom.

– Baby equipment on request.

  • We are a couple with a baby, should we bring our own equipment ?

Cots (up to 2 years old), highchairs and bottle warmers are available free of charge, subject to availability. Please let us know when you make your reservation or 24h before the arrival to be sure that we can dispose of them.

  • I’ve booked an accommodation for 4 persons for a week and a friend would like to join us for the weekend, can we sleep in the same accommodation ?

It is possible, in certain accommodation, to add an extra bed for 30 € per night.

  • Do you have an accommodation adapted to receive Persons with Reduced Mobility ?

3 bedrooms are fitted to welcome PRMs : a double studio with kitchenette and two double or twin bedrooms whose one is communicating.
All our accommodation is equipped with shower only.
A lift is also present to facilitate access to all the hotel’s amenities.

  • Does your hotel accept pets ?

Yes, we accept cats and dogs (except category 1 and 2) with an additional cost, i.e. a maximum of 1 pet per room (or 2 if each weighs less than 10 kilos). A carpet will be provided, on request, in the accommodation booked.

  • Do you have a smoking accommodation ?

All our accommodation is non-smoking and equipped with smoke detectors. We therefore ask you to please smoke on the balcony or terrace, glazed door closed.

  • From what time can we settle into the accommodation ?

Accommodation is available from 4 pm.
However, we have a luggage room accessible 24/24 if you wish to drop your luggage before to have access to your bedroom.

  • At what time do we have to release the accommodation ?

Accommodation must be released before 11 am.
However, a late check-out is possible, on request and on option, subject to availability.

  • I’ve booked a bedroom for a business trip and I will arrive late in the evening, will someone be there to welcome me ?

Reception is open 24 hours a day. From 10 pm a night watchman will welcome you. However, we ask you to inform us in advance, in case of arrival after 9 pm.

  • I only understand French a little bit, could I exchange with someone who speaks another language ?

Our receptionists speak English and Spanish too.
Televisions also propose foreign channels.

  • Even on holiday I need to check my emails, is there an internet access ?

Each accommodation is equipped with free and unlimited Wi-Fi. In addition, a computer is available at the reception.

  • In summer, I like to sleep in a bedroom at ambient temperature, are your accommodation equipped with air conditioning ?

All our accommodation is air-conditioned including flats which dispose of air-conditioning in each room.

  • I own valuable jewelleries that I want to leave in a safe place when I go to the beach, how could I do ?

All our accommodation has a safe.

  • I wish to leave my car in a safe place, do you have a car park ?

The Mercedes Hotel has a private and secure underground car park with 23 spaces, to be reserved as soon as possible.

  • I wish to bring my bike and my surfboard, could I stock them somewhere ?

A bike room is at your disposal and there are racks in the luggage room for surfboards. You also have the possibility to rinse them with a water jet.

  • I wish to stay 3 weeks in Hossegor with my children, do you have a laundry service ?

A laundry room with a washer and a dryer is commissioning. Tokens must be recovered and paid at the reception. Ironing equipment is also available free of charge.

  • If ocean waves are too strong for my children, could they have access to the pool ?

Our swimming pool is heated, subject to change due to the energy situation. It is accessible from 10 am to 9 pm. We lend towels, to recover at the reception, under deposit. Children are below parents’ responsibility. If you wish to enjoy the pool once check-out is done (except July and August), you could use the courtesy shower before to leave.

  • Does your hotel propose catering ?

The hotel Mercedes only assures breakfast service, however, a range of restaurants are in direct proximity. In addition, 33 of our accommodation is equipped with kitchenettes.

  • What are your kitchenettes equipment ?

Our kitchenettes are equipped with a microwave, a small fridge and baking trays. You will also find all the necessary dishware.

  • At what time can we have breakfast ?

Breakfast, as a buffet or continental tray in the bedroom, is served from 8 am to 11 am. However, it can be served earlier, on request.

  • What payment methods are accepted ?

We only accept payment cards and bank transfers for deposit payment. For the balance of the stay, we also admit holiday cheque and cash up to a limit of 1000 €.

  • Am I in the obligation to communicate my bank details to make a reservation ?

The transmission of your bank details (name, numbers, expiry date and cryptogram) is obligatory to confirm and guarantee your booking. However, by security measure, we do not keep your details from one year to the next and our software is secured and protected by data encryption.

  • Do I have to pay the total amount of my stay at the reservation ?

Deposit, corresponding to 30 % of the total amount of the stay will be drawn at the reservation. It is possible to pay it in 2 or 3 instalments if you wish. Balance will must be paid during the stay.

  • What is the amount of the tourist tax ?

Tourist tax rate is 1.44 € per night and per person from 18 years old.

  • I need to cancel my booking, can I perceive any refund ?

Firstly, any reservation cancellation will must be made by letter or email.

– Any reservation cancellation or postponement occurring more than 48 hours (or more than 7 days in high season) before the due arrival date, will not cause any cancellation cost and will result in the return of the deposit.

– In case of reservation cancellation or postponement occurring less than 48 hours (or less than 7 days in high season) before the due arrival date, deposit will be kept.

For any reservation profiting of a promotional rate, the 30 % deposit will be kept and not refunded from the moment of the reservation. Once the reservation is made, any cancellation or modification will result in a 100% cancellation fee, i.e. the total amount of the stay.
