1°/ Booking conditions:
In accordance with article L. 121-20-4 of the Consumer Code, the customer is informed that the cancellation clause set out in article L. 121-20 of the Consumer Code is invalidated if the services are provided on a specific date or over a specific period.
The customer chooses the services offered by the Hotel MERCEDES and acknowledges that he/she is fully aware of the nature, purpose, and methods of booking the available services, and that he/she has sought and obtained all the necessary and/or additional information to make the booking with full knowledge of the facts.
The customer is solely responsible for his or her choice of services and their suitability for his/her needs, such that the Hotel MERCEDES cannot be held responsible in this regard. The booking will be deemed accepted by the customer at the end of the booking procedure.
ll bookings must be:
- guaranteed by a bank card number (name of card holder, card number, expiry date and security key),
- accompanied by a 30 % The deposit fee will be deducted from the overall bill at the end of the agreed stay.
The booking will not be deemed definite until it has been confirmed in writing by reception at the Hotel MERCEDES, either by mail or email.
Settlement balance will be made at the hotel during the stay, except in the case of special tariffs or conditions, when payment will be made at the time of booking (prepayment on some rates). If the payment of the balance is made by bank transfer, it is your responsibility to plan it in advance
In the event of non-payment by the customer for all or part of the services provided, the Hotel MERCEDES will debit the monies due from the bank card provided as a guarantee.
In the event of a no show (booking not cancelled – customer not present) when a booking has been guaranteed by bank card, the customer will be debited for the entire cost of the booked services from the card provided a guarantee. We therefore recommend that customers take out cancellation insurance with their insurance company.
The room will be available from 4 p.m. on the day of arrival and must be vacated before 11 a.m. on the day of departure. However, a late check is possible on request, subject to availability, for a fee of 50% of the room price between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. After 4 p.m., an additional night will be charged.
2°/ Cancellation conditions:
All cancellations of bookings must be made in writing by mail or email.
- In high season (07/01/2023 to 09/02/2023): Any cancellations or postponement of a reservation occurring more than 7 days before the scheduled arrival date will not incur any cancellation fees and will result in the return of the amounts paid as a deposit.
In the event of cancellation or deferment of a booking received less than 7 days prior to the agreed arrival, the deposit of 30 % will be retained.
- Before and after the high season (07/01/2023 to 09/02/2023): Cancellations or deferments of bookings that are received more than 48 hours prior to the agreed time of arrival will be made free of any cancellation charges, and all deposits paid will be
In the event of cancellation or deferment of a booking received less than 48 hours prior to the agreed arrival, the deposit of 30 % will be retained.
In the event of interruption or modification while the stay, the Hotel MERCEDES reserves the right to charge for the entire booked period. In the event of a booking with prepayment, no reimbursement will be made.
- CANCELLATION OF RESERVATION WITH PROMOTIONAL RATES :
Once the reservation is made, any cancellation or modification will result in a 100% cancellation fee, i.e. the total amount of the stay.
3°/ Special conditions:
If the establishment should be unavailable or in the case of force majeure, the establishment reserves the possibility of totally or partially accommodating guests in a nearby hotel of an equivalent category, offering services of a similar nature. Should this arise, the establishment cannot be pursued for any form of compensation.
Dogs (except category 1 and 2) and cats, i.e. a maximum of 1 pet per room (or 2 if each weighs less than 10 kilos) are welcome at an additional cost per pet.
Moreover, in case of deterioration, damage and dirt, Hotel MERCEDES reserves the right to charge guests for refurbishment or additional cleaning costs and to shorten your stay.
All our rooms are “non-smoking” and to keep them free of tobacco smell we ask you not to smoke inside the room, and please do so only on the balcony or terrace, and closed window holder. Each accommodation is equipped with a smoke alarm.
If we detect a cigarette smell in the room, during or after your departure, we will apply a supplement of € 60 for deodorizing the room and washing the curtains and carpets. If at the end of this cleaning, the room is still not praiseworthy, the Hotel MERCEDES reserves the right to charge an additional night, according to the prevailing rate of the booking period, for the unavailability of the room.
6° Opposition to telephone canvassing:
In accordance with article L.223-2 of the French Consumer Code, customers who do not wish to be the subject of commercial prospecting by telephone may register, free of charge, on an opposition list against telephone canvassing. For more information: Bloctel.
7° Disputes & Mediation :
In accordance with article R.616-1 of the French Consumer Code, in the event of a dispute or litigation, after having referred the matter to Hotel MERCEDES management (firstname.lastname@example.org) and failing a satisfactory response within 1 month, the customer may refer the matter to the Médiateur du Tourisme et du Voyage, whose contact details are given below:
