1°/ Booking conditions:
In accordance with article L. 121-20-4 of the Consumer Code, the customer is informed that the cancellation clause set out in article L. 121-20 of the Consumer Code is invalidated if the services are provided on a specific date or over a specific period.
The customer chooses the services offered by the Hotel MERCEDES and acknowledges that he/she is fully aware of the nature, purpose, and methods of booking the available services, and that he/she has sought and obtained all the necessary and/or additional information to make the booking with full knowledge of the facts.
The customer is solely responsible for his or her choice of services and their suitability for his/her needs, such that the Hotel MERCEDES cannot be held responsible in this regard. The booking will be deemed accepted by the customer at the end of the booking procedure.
All bookings must be:
- Be guaranteed by a credit card number (cardholder name, card number, expiration date, and security code), including in the case of bank transfers to pay the deposit.
- accompanied by a 30 % The deposit fee will be deducted from the overall bill at the end of the agreed stay.
For reservations made by telephone or email, the reservation will only become final after written confirmation from the reception desk of the MERCEDES Hotel.
- The balance of the payment must be settled at the hotel no later than the day of departure, except in the case of special conditions or rates where payment is debited at the time of booking (prepayment on certain rates). If the balance is paid by bank transfer, it is your responsibility to arrange this in advance.
In the event of non-payment by the customer for all or part of the services provided, the Hotel MERCEDES will debit the monies due from the bank card provided as a guarantee.
In the event of a no show (booking not cancelled – customer not present) when a booking has been guaranteed by bank card, the customer will be debited for the entire cost of the booked services from the card provided a guarantee. We therefore recommend that customers take out cancellation insurance with their insurance company.
The room will be available from 4 p.m. on the day of arrival and must be vacated before 11 a.m. on the day of departure. However, a late check is possible on request, subject to availability, for a fee of 50% of the room price between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. After 4 p.m., an additional night will be charged.
2°/ Cancellation and reservation modification conditions:
Any cancellation or modification of a reservation must be made by mail or email.
In high season (03 July 2026 to 29 August 2026) :
- Any cancellation or modification occurring more than 15 days (calendar days) before the scheduled arrival date will incur no charges and will result in a refund of any sums paid as a deposit.
- In the event of cancellation or modification of your stay 15 days or less before the scheduled arrival date (calendar date), the deposit will be retained.
Before and after the high season (02 April 2026 to 02 July 2026, and 30 August 2026 to 31 October 2026)
- Any cancellation or modification of a reservation made more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date will not incur any cancellation fees and will result in the refund of any deposits paid.
- In the event of cancellation or modification of the stay 48 hours or less before the scheduled arrival date (calendar date), the deposit will be retained.
In the event of interruption or modification during your stay, the MERCEDES Hotel will charge the total amount of the planned stay. In the case of a prepaid reservation, no refund will be granted for this reason.
Cancellation of reservation with promotional rates :
Once the reservation is made, any cancellation or modification will result in a 100% cancellation fee, i.e. the total amount of the stay.
3°/ Special conditions:
If the establishment should be unavailable or in the case of force majeure, the establishment reserves the possibility of totally or partially accommodating guests in a nearby hotel of an equivalent category, offering services of a similar nature. Should this arise, the establishment cannot be pursued for any form of compensation.
4°/ Pets:
Dogs (except category 1 and 2) and cats, i.e. a maximum of 1 pet per room (or 2 if each weigh less than 10 kilos) are welcome at an additional cost per pet per night.
Moreover, in case of deterioration, damage and dirt, Hotel MERCEDES reserves the right to charge guests for refurbishment or additional cleaning costs and to shorten your stay.
5°/ Smokers:
All our rooms are “non-smoking” and to keep them free of tobacco smell we ask you not to smoke inside the room, and please do so only on the balcony or terrace, and closed window holder. Each accommodation is equipped with a smoke alarm.
If we detect a cigarette smell in the room, during or after your departure, we will apply a supplement of € 80 for deodorizing the room and washing the curtains and carpets. If at the end of this cleaning, the room is still not praiseworthy, the Hotel MERCEDES reserves the right to charge an additional night, according to the prevailing rate of the booking period, for the unavailability of the room.
6° Opposition to telephone canvassing:
In accordance with article L.223-2 of the French Consumer Code, customers who do not wish to be the subject of commercial prospecting by telephone may register, free of charge, on an opposition list against telephone canvassing. For more information: Bloctel.
7° Disputes & Mediation :
In accordance with article R.616-1 of the French Consumer Code, in the event of a dispute or litigation, after having referred the matter to Hotel MERCEDES management (direction@hotel-mercedes.com) and failing a satisfactory response within 1 month, the customer may refer the matter to the Médiateur du Tourisme et du Voyage, whose contact details are given below:
